One of the bright young things of today's modern British acting community, the lovely film and TV actress Natalie Dormer has made quite a mark with her lovely looks, cat-like eyes and gorgeous figure. She first caught my attention in that absurd but popular period drama The Tudors, and now has a strong continuing role as the sexually and politically motivated Margaery Tyrell in the deservedly world audience conquering fantasy epic, Game of Thrones.

SUPERBABE 168: MARIA GRAZIA CUCINOTTA

Following on in the great tradition of Italian cinematic beauties laid down by the wondrous Sophia Loren comes the emergent continental wonder from the nineties onwards that is stellar-shaped Maria Grazia Cucinotta, a genuine star of her home territories, first known to American audiences via the classic Il Postino, who'd then make a memorable if all too brief appearance in the opening titles of the Pierce Brosnan James Bond actioner The World is Not Enough, at first appearing as a stunning-legged accounts secretary whose figures all men would surely like to do an exhaustive check-up of, then revealing her true colours as a leather clad assassin for a memorable speed boat chase across the Thames River.

Beyond BOND, Miss Cucinotta continues modelling, acting in a variety of roles in her home country, and bringing European class to the entertainment world at large.

SUPERBABE 167: NATALIE SULIMAN

With desirable eyes to trap a man's soul, one of the UK's newest and strikingly gorgeous young discoveries in the world of modelling has to be Natalie Suliman, apparently earmarked for fame one day in a swimming pool and going on to win acclaim with her early lingerie work for MARKS AND SPENCERS. That lovely body of hers, wrapped in the very best of elegance, continues to grace online and printed media. And very happy we are, too!

SUPERBABE 166: MARIEL HEMINGWAY

Bringing new interest to ballet, and giving the world a splendid rear view is the lovely actress/model and author Mariel Hemingway, who I best remember in the eighties as the leggy Lacy Warfield in the sadly mostly ropey SUPERMAN IV, and for portraying the late PLAYBOY playmate Dorothy Stratten in biographical tragedy STAR 80. Currently enjoying the practices of Transcendental Meditation, this is one lovely lady I'd happily share some quality time with!

SUPERBABE 165: VICKI MICHELLE

Vicki Michelle superbly showcases her then lingerie line, circa 1987.

The saucy French-set World War II comedy ALLO ALLO, made by the UK's BBC, had some fine postcard humour and OTT silliness that makes it a continued success to this day, but most men watched primarily for the show's two main lingerie and stockings wearing sirens, Vicki Michelle as sultry waitress Yvette and Kim Hartman as the German lieutenant Huelga, who never failed to deliver their stunning goods every week to appreciative fans. Miss Hartman will feature in a separate posting- let's first appreciate the shapely actress/model/reality star Vicki Michelle MBE in her prime.

One of America's dreamiest and shapely sunshine girls for SPORTS ILLUSTRATED's regular, now iconic, Swimwear Edition magazine, and the original Uptown Girl for Billy Joel in his classic music video of the eighties. Amazing at 61, Christie Brinkley is as glamorous and leggy as ever, continuing her career as a successful businesswoman, author, stage actress and animal welfare champion.
