She's now best known worldwide as Benedict 'SHERLOCK' Cumberbatch's real-life mum, but back in the sixties and seventies, Wanda Ventham was one of the great UK TV babes, especially in the hit sci-fi series UFO, where she made a mark as one of the series main heroines: Colonel Virginia Lake.
