There have been several attempts to get a worthy realisation of the well-endowed, blood-red lipped beauty with a thirst for male plasma, originally created by Forrest J. Ackerman and Trina Robbins, to visual reality. So great news then with this new and successful multi-media endeavour via the top talents of genre celebration that are COFFIN CUTIES magazine and DYNAMITE COMICS, for their discovery of the genuinely stunning, and genuinely voluptuous, alternative model, teacher and artist Jamie Matsu Chin, winner of a specially held online contest to play the part, and who, from early publicity material so far released, was surely born to inhabit Vampirella's shapely criss-cross red basque and unleash copious amounts of sex appeal and femme fatale charisma in the process.

SUPERBABE 176: LOUISE HUNT

Like the rest of the world, the UK loves its soap operas, and they wouldn't have to be in series form, either. The late nineties saw a popular will-they-or-won't-they couple interplay go on within a batch of very popular Nescafe Gold Blend coffee ads. This saga of simmering sex appeal went on beyond its original run with another couple taking up the story, co-starring the gorgeous UK model/actress Louise Hunt. With such sex appeal and those glorious legs on display, I was surprised that Miss Hunt, who now resides in the US, didn't appear in more series and film work from the back of its success, though she continues to act, and her IMDB resume goes up to at least 2010.

If Miss Hunt ever ran out of coffee, our door is always open for her.

SUPERBABE 175: SUMMER GLAU

Gene Kelly's Singing in the Rain sadly never looked like this! No downpours can change the happy state of mind, or alter the superb body and retro-stockinged legs, of Cult US TV favourite Summer Glau, who's been in everything from action dramas like THE UNIT, forensics thrillers like the original CSI, and hit sci-fi, including ALPHAS and Joss Whedon's fan beloved FIREFLY, where she played the vulnerable fugitive River Tam, whose ultimate fighting skills were unleashed in the spin-off movie Serenity. Long may Miss Glau, and those adorable legs of hers, thrive!
