Well, sorry to say, it looks like an over-zealous cross-section of pesky misery-loving feminists have won the day and managed to get the UK tabloid newspaper THE SUN to remove its legendary and now iconic topless Page Three girl pictorial from its pages. And boo, hiss! to them for that, but let's celebrate its reign for the smiles and eye-watering beauty it brought to us red-blooded makes over the forty years or so of its existence, especially giving us the likes of career-launching superbabes like Samantha Fox, Melinda Messenger, Lisa Bangert, and, as seen above, the knockout that is Kathy Lloyd.

A former British nurse (oh, to have been one of her patients!) turned model/calender star/sex symbol (having a celebrity sex tape always helps punch up personal publicity!)/lingerie goddess/author (of erotic fiction), and now a respectable actress on the stage, I've always enjoyed the stunning looks and physical attributes of the lovely Abi Titmuss, welcomely possessing a cherubic facade with a very sensual and desirable side underneath, and look forward to all her future endeavours, especially now she's trying to crack it as an actress in the US, with her new name of Abi Evelyn.

SUPERBABE 118: HEATHER THOMAS

We all loved Lee Majors as The Six Million Dollar Man back in the seventies, so it was a natural that his dedicated fanbase would go on to watch his weekly exploits as stuntman bounty hunter Colt Seavers in the daft but enjoyable The Fall Guy. But, let's face it, most red blooded males watched it primarily for his gorgeous young blonde sidekick in the comedy adventure: the often bikini-attired Heather Thomas, giving us a likable performance that enabled her to add some light-hearted comedy and action to her resume, as well as showcasing her desirable figure. She was a sensation to behold, as her skimpy blue bikini appearance in the show's regular title sequence continued, happily, reminding us!

SUPERBABE 117: CLAUDIA CHRISTIAN

One of modern sci-fi's enduring, genuine sex sirens is the interstellar beauty that is Claudia Christian, who, amongst many notable film and TV projects, played Commander Susan Ivanova in the excellent, five-year running, if you haven't seen it you really should, space opera BABYLON 5. Christian, as the sardonic and quirky Russian Ivanova, was very much at the heart of the show when it came to relatable humour and bravery- and she certainly went through a lot during the four seasons created by J. Michael Straczynski.

Off screen, Miss Christian, dedicated to her fans (and vice versa), has also added music, radio drama, a stunning pictorial shoot for PLAYBOY- which had far too few pages to savour if you ask me! - and a popular and refreshingly candid autobiography to her credits. Its no cliche to say that the sky's not the limit for this talented, temperature-raising lady.
