Following in the best onscreen traditions of Carrie Fisher as the spunky and gorgeous Princess Leia Organa of Star Wars, 1981 would bring us the equally hot Canadian actress Melody Anderson playing brave heroine of Earth, Dale Arden, in the hugely fun Flash Gordon movie, also starring Sam Jones and Max von Sydow. Having originally displayed her lovely figure for a sweet and seductive Victoria's Secret photo shoot, her other acting roles would include the cult classic Manimal and the original Battlestar Galactica, before retiring from the industry to work in the more challenging and rewarding fields of public speaking and social work, for which she is to be commended.
