If Carrie Fisher was the bold and plucky Princess Leia with the purity of heart against tyranny, and the gutsy blaster trigger to take down Stormtroopers, Italian beauty Ornella Muti's Princess Aura in the colourful 1982 Flash Gordon movie was the complete opposite, almost following in the footsteps of her father Ming the Merciless, mostly out for herself and one seriously strong and in control of her sexuality lady out for a good time and wanting to get some evil between the sheets action with Flash. How he never succumbed, I don't know- the fool!

Miss Muti was and is one of Italian cinema's most admired female stars, her gorgeous pull you in cat-like eyes and succulent figure as memorable and adored as ever.
