Still making an impact in men's hearts after her incredible cinematic launch in 1979, luckily discovered and revealed to the world via her husband John, Bo Derek showed us her playful personality, gorgeous smile and that genuinely incredible body that would deliriously overwhelm us, and the always hilarious Dudley Moore, in Blake Edwards seminal sex comedy "10", followed by showcase turns in Tarzan, the Ape Man and Bolero (if I had been one of her lovers in that film, though, I would have had trouble "acting" the simulated sex scenes- and been too enthused for the sake of realism!). Happily for us still acting, Bo, also a charity campaigner, athlete, humanist and all round nice person, remains one of the greatest things to come out of America since Apple Pie.
