A first rate actress with a fine eye for playing very sexy and confident women, launching her career as that very eager to play, kinky Secretary for happy sex sadist James Spader, to whom she'd enjoy much office dominatrix with, it was a thrill to see Maggie Gyllenhaal tread the floors of the onscreen office in short skirts and nylon stockings, with her gorgeous rear on display ready and willing for entry. More serious roles have since followed, but we'll always fondly remember the film that launched her so well and which was so stiffeningly effective with male audiences and kinky female fan adventurers.
