She's one of US televison's most popular character actresses- seen in pretty much every UNIVERSAL series you could think of, from AIRWOLF to MURDER SHE WROTE- but I'll always a have a very special soft spot for the lovely and charming Anne Lockhart with her portrayal of the gorgeous and fiery Viper Pilot Colonial Warrior known as Sheba, from the original and still the best BATTLESTAR GALACTICA.

SUPERBABE 60: SHANIA TWAIN

Heating up a Grammy Awards ceremony.

Certainly one of the best and most stunning things to have happened to Country Music in the last twenty years: the shapely, gorgeous and talented form of Canadian songstress Shania Twain, who first caught my eye in the late nineties and has stayed there on and off ever since, especially when she did that subtly stripteasing, and just darned sexy, Robert Palmer tribute-esque video: "Man, I Feel Like a Woman". My pulse rate has leapt ever since!

SUPERBABE 59: LINDA HARRISON

If I was going to be stuck on a grim future Earth with a load of "damn dirty apes", I can think of no one  to escape with, and spend some serious caveman-esque quality time with, than the lovely female primitive Nova, as played by model/actress Linda Harrison in the first two of the eternally popular PLANET OF THE APES film series. Though her mute character only said one word before she was ultimately but memorably killed off, she certainly made her mark as an intriguing character whilst also possessing a genuinely nova figure that certainly helped keep further attentions in the quiet moments between sci-fi iconography...

SUPERBABE 58: YVONNE CRAIG

Originally brought in to stop flagging ratings, the exquisite beauty Yvonne Craig, also known for cult TV appearances in THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. and STAR TREK, certainly caught the eye in the third and final season of Adam West's sixties BATMAN series. Tightly formed in that striking, shaping Batgirl costume and showing her leggy ballerina-esque crime fighting kicks against the scum of Gotham City, children loved Craig as Batgirl/Barbara Gordon, women liked her strong independent streak, but male audiences liked her for altogether different, but no less vital, reasons, of which the actress and character's popularity and sex appeal has remained consistent to this day. Looking forward to seeing Batgirl and Miss Craig in hopefully stunning re-mastered Blu-ray form at some point later in the year, what with the recent news of the series upcoming release.

Imitating the now iconic Sophia Loren in her underwear scene from movie classic THE MILLIONAIRESS is no easy thing, but Australian TV actress, former soap star and model Holly Valance manages to get away it for this recent UK lottery promotion, and, like a bullet launched from a starting pistol, boosts her sex appeal one hundred percent in my opinion...

Miss Valance has appeared in small roles in popular US series like PRISON BREAK and CSI: MIAMI, plus the hit action movie TAKEN, but I gather she's now hitched to one helluva wealthy guy. Isn't that always the way, eh...?

Smart and savvy businesswoman, devoted mum and not your average young Hollywood starlet type, actress Jessica Alba, best known for her work in the likes of THE FANTASTIC FOUR, SIN CITY and other Robert Rodriguez cult films, has long said she doesn't understand her sex symbol status and often shrugs it off. Well, as this new shoot for the recent American ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY magazine demonstrates, that reputation for her delighted worldwide male fans isn't going to end anytime soon. And thank the Lord for that!
